Starting September 19, we will meet in the Office Conference Room at 9:15AM for the Tuesday Evangelism Prayer Meeting.

Tuesday Evening Men’s Study

7:00 – 8:00 PM by Zoom
Our time together begins with fellowship and prayer. Then we study by discussing the questions from our lesson.

During the discussion, the men are free to raise situations or issues that they are facing. Our goal is to go beyond knowledge and understanding to gain wisdom. We do that by thinking of ways to apply God’s truth to our lives. We have 3 rules: 1) We try to be prepared to answer the questions. 2) We don’t give advice but offer counsel. 3) Everything is to be held confidential. We always close with prayer requests and prayer.

We are very informal and enjoy getting to know each other. Many of our men are older, mature Christians, and all of us wish to be all that Christ would have us to be.

This is a great time to join in! Our current study is Revelation: The Christian’s Ultimate Victory by John MacArthur.

Widower’s Bible Study

3:30-4:30PM in the Fireside room
Widowers, come join Dick Ranshaw for an informal study of Ephesians. This is a rich time studying God’s Word and a great opportunity to connect with each other. Together, we will grow in our walk with the Lord.

This fall we will begin our 42nd year of Awana. We will need a team of volunteers to serve in this ministry of teaching children God’s Truth. Please let us know if you’d be interested in learning about serving at Awana by contacting Kathy Risch (Krisch@southlife.org)

We are looking for more choir singers starting in the fall. All parts are needed, (especially sopranos and altos). Reading music is beneficial but not crucial. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 6:30 with the first rehearsal of the season on August 30. Come one. Come all. No audition necessary. Wednesday Evening Prayer and Bible Study (men & women)

How thankful we are to be able to approach the Lord in prayer, and how desperately we need Him! Please join the pastors for prayer followed by a rich time in the Word. All are welcome.
